Storms, floods in the forecast

UNDATED - The potential is there for some flooding across north and central Georgia this weekend.
The National Weather Service says up to 3 inches of rain is possible in the northern two-thirds of the state overnight Saturday and through Sunday. That has prompted a Flood Watch for north and central Georgia. (See separate posting.)
In addition, strong thunderstorms - some of them possibly severe - are expected.
