Boys basketball: Lions push 8-A win streak to six straight

GAINESVILLE - Daniel Olvera poured in 17 points and Ross Biegler 10 to lead Lakeview Academy to a 50-41 win over Prince Avenue Christian Friday night in Region 8-A action at the Lakeview gym.

It was the sixth straight win for the Lions (8-7, 8-1 in region) and keeps them atop the region standings just ahead of Commerce.

Daniel Howell paced Prinve Avenue with 19 poits.

Lakeview next will play host to Tallulah Falls Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
