Safe-driving tips for icy roads; DOT ready for the snow

ATLANTA - The Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) reminds drivers the snow expected to fall across about half the state today and tonight could produce hazardous driving conditions on some roads.

GOHS has dusted the snowflakes from this list of safe driving tips to help get motorists home safely:

1. Number One is a no-brainerâ

State DOT crews are ready to hit the roads to try to keep them free of snow and ice should the wintry precipitation we are expecting move in later today. (File photo)
