East Hall (7-5, 1-1 in subregion) has now won four of its last six games heading into the heart of its subregion schedule.
The first half was an offensive show from both teams with East Hall taking a 17-12 lead after the first quarter and then extending it to 34-25 by halftime.
The second half, however, was all defense as the two combined for just 33 total points.
Greg Edwards and Chaz Cheeks each scored nine points to pace East Hall (7-5, 1-1). Chris Moore added eight and Charles Perry had six for the Vikings.
Fineto Lunguana scored 22 to lead West Forsyth. John Benedict had 12 for the Wolverines (5-4, 0-1).
east Hall next will play host to arch-rival Gainesville Tuesday in a key 7B-AAA matchup. West Forsyth travels to Johnson Tuesday in another 7B-AAA showdown.
