CUMMING - Overnight roadwork begins Wednesday in Forsyth County on a key state route through the county.

Crews will be resurfacing State Route 9 from the Fulton County line to just north of State Route 20 in Cumming... using money available through Washington's economic stimulus program.

Work will go from 8:30 p.m.-5:30 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and you can expect some delays. But there will be no work on weekends or during weekdays.

The project should be completed before the end of the year.

It is part of the $932 million in stimulus dollars set aside so far for road work in Georgia.
