Green St. closed for nearly 8 hours

UNDATED - Green Street in Gainesville has now reopened after a fallen tree shut down the busy roadway Monday.

Georgia Department of Transportation spokeswoman Teri Pope said the road was reopened around 2:15 p.m. Monday... almost eight hgours after it was closed.

The tree fell in front of the Norton Agency.
