GAINESVILLE - The defenses ruled at Maginnins Field Friday night with North Oconee getting an interception return for a touchdown in the third quarter to spark the Titans to a key 17-0 Region 8-AA win over Riverside Military Academy.

After North Oconee (4-0, 3-0 in regioN) got an early field goal to take a 3-0 lead, the Eagles were mounting their first solid drive of the game when the Titans made the first big play of the game with the key interception return.

Riverside (2-2, 2-1) never recovered as the Titans put the game away with the only offensive a touchdown of the game with just under four minutes left.
