Indians lose heartbreaker to Copper Basin (TN)

HIAWASSEE - Towns County is still looking for its first win of the 2009 season after a tough 7-6 loss to Copper Basin (TN) Friday night.

The Indians (0-3) trailed the entire but scored a touchdown on a 4-yard TD run by Matt Beni to make it 7-6. But they missed the extra point that would have tied the game. The Indians also missed a field goal in the fourth quarter.

Copper basin scored its only touchdown on a 42-yard pass in the second quarter.
