Guadeloupe Hernandez Vazquez, 58, Gainesville, was the only fatality in northeast Georgia ... killed in a head-on crash on Candler Road just south of Gainesville early Saturday. Three other people were injured in the crash, two of them seriously.
The Georgia State Patrol says there were also 184 injuries in 45 accidents in Troop B (northeast Georgia) during the three-day period that ended at midnight Monday night.
In addition to the eight fatalities statewide, there were 2,231 accidents with 614 injuries.
