Lumpkin's Jake McClure scored late in the first quarter to pull the Indians into a 7-7 tie with the Falcons. But it was all Flowery Branch after that as the Falcons scored 28 unaswered points over the final three quarters to take a 35-7 win.
Imani Cross finished with two rushing touchdowns and quarterback Connor Shaw passed for three scores.
Cross connected on TD passes with Robby Beaudreau, Rodriquez Frazier, and Rodney Young. Frazier also had an interception on defense for Flowery Branch.
The Falcons also had two touchdowns called back in a game that saw both teams combine for nearly 200 yards in penalties.
Flowery Branch (2-0) next will play host to Creekview. Lumpkin County (1-1) will travel to East Hall next week.
