UNDATED - Municipal elections are coming up in Georgia in about two months... and qualifying begins Monday.

When qualifying ends, depends on the town.

You'll find some places that conduct qualifying for only three days while for others, it's a five-day run... ending on Friday.

Buford and Gainesville are among of those places where it ends on Wednesday. But, in Statham and Bethlehem, it's Friday.

In Gainesville, the posts now held by city councilmen George Wangemann and Danny Dunagan will be up for grabs . The board of eduction posts held by David Syfan and Kelvin Simmons will also be on the ballot.

The last day to register to vote in the Gainesville elections is October 5.
