LAST MEETING: 2008, Franklin County won 13-3. Franklin leads all-time series 4-3 and has won the last four meetings. Last year was the first meeting between the two schools since 1993.
GAME NOTES: White County is coming off a good 6-4 season but the Warriors narrowly missed out on a second consecutive trip to the playoffs. Franklin County finished 5-5 last year dropping its final three games after leading Region 8-AAA through the first four games. White County is expected to be explosive again this season. Offense is the key for the Warriors. In their six wins last season they averaged 31 points a game. They scored just 20 total points in their four losses. For the Lions, defense may be the key again. In Franklin's five wins they allowed just 12 total points. In their five losses they allowed 29 points a game.
