The Lady Dragons knocked off Johnson 25-23, 25-21 leading the entire way. The Dragons did most of their damage from the service line combining for 11 aces in the match. The offense was sparked by Taylor Cramsey with three kills and Stephanie Fincher with four 4 kills.
In the second match Jefferson then beat host Buford 25-16, 25-21. Jefferson again had a strong service game with 14 aces while Cramsey had seven kills and Fincher five kills to lead the way.
"This was a very good night for us," Jefferson coach Mike Paul said. "We defeated two quality opponents with great traditions of excellence."
Jefferson next will play host to Lakeview Academy and Flowery Branch Thursday.
