BLAIRSVILLE - Searchers acting on a tip called to the ``America's Most Wanted'' television show are looking for a missing north Georgia woman in North Carolina.

The woman, 38-year-old Kristi Cornwell of Blairsville, disappeared Aug. 11. Police say she was abducted while talking to her boyfriend on her phone.
U.S. marshals searched Sunday in the area of Kings Mountain, N.C., near Charlotte.

Officers say a caller to the TV show said the woman's body could be found there. The case was profiled on the show Saturday night.

Detectives conducted a search there on Sunday and say they will resume searching on Monday.

They also searched new sites in Tennessee and Union County, Georgia, because of tips received by the TV show.

Cornwell's family is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to her safe return or the arrest and conviction of the people responsible for her disappearance.
