CUMMING - The next phase of the Big Creek Greenway Project in Forsyth County is ready for public input.

The project include seven miles of a multi-use trail from Bethelview Road to the Sawnee Mountain Preserve Visitor Center.

It will be a 12-foot wide paved path with a boardwalk and pedestrian bridges. The project also proposes three trailhead locations which will provide for parking and restroom facilities. In addition to the trail and trailhead construction, landscaping and other hardscape appurtenances will be provided.

The county's engineering department will be on hand for the open house to show the plans, and to give the public a chance to respond.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday from 5 until 7 at Sawnee Elementary School in Cumming.
