GSC schedules first furlough days

UNDATED - Gainesville State College announces plans for the first three of six unpaid furlough days mandated by the state Board of Regents, while North Georgia and State University continues to consider its options and Georgia Gwinnett works on its schedule.

GSC employees will be off September 8, November 25 and December 21. North Georgia may have an announcement as early as next week and officials at Georgia Gwinnett have not returned messages seeking information on their plans.
