North Hall rabies case

GAINESVILLE - A raccoon that came in contact with a dog in North Hall earlier this week has tested positive for rabies.
The incident to occurred Tuesday in the Oak Creek Drive area and is the 14th confirmed case in Hall County this year.
The raccoon was shipped to the Georgia Public Health Lab - Virology Section - in Decatur the following day and on Thursday, the Gainesville-Hall Animal Control Department was advised that the raccoon was positive for rabies.
