White Co. benefits from beer and wine sales

CLEVELAND - The sale of beer and wine in White County is doing what proponents of the sales said it would do: provide some much needed revenue.  

As part of her financial report to the county at this weeks county commission meeting, Chief Financial Officer Vickie Neikirk reported the revenue from taxes and license fees associated with the beverage sales has generated nearly $52,000 since the county began issuing the licenses four months ago.
