CLEMSON, S.C. -- Clemson hasn't had this much buzz about a player since the days of The Fridge.

The school is modeling its Heisman Trophy campaign on behalf of tailback C.J. Spiller after one used for William Perry.

Clemson's athletic department plans to unveil on Tuesday a full-size growth poster promoting Spiller for the Heisman.

The posters look similar to ones used when Perry, an All-America on the Tigers defensive line, was being promoted for the Lombardi Award and Outland Trophy before his senior season in 1984.

Spiller says he returned to play his final year despite hearing that he could be a first-round selection in the NFL draft last April.
