"This is a service we are very excited to offer our customers," Director of Commercial
Services Jamie Payne said. "We are always looking for ways to improve service provided
to our customers and we have heard from many that they were interested in an online
payment option."
The feature is accessible via the county Web site, www.forsythco.com.
From the Quick Links drop-down menu on the home page, select "Pay Water Bill Online."
Customers should have their current mailed water and sewer bill handy when paying
online, as information from the bill such as account number and service address number
will need to be inputted. When inputting the account number, do not enter the preceding
three or four zeros.
The online program will default to the total account balance including all unpaid charges.
Since all unpaid charges may not be due at that time, confirm the payment amount due
from the current mailed bill. Customers can input the payment amount due at that time if
it differs from the total account balance.
