Public hearing on mixed-used development

BRASELTON - Braselton's planning commission has recommended approval of plans for a mixed-use development that would include retail and office space and a hotel.
The Braselton City Council is scheduled to consider the matter at a 4:00 work session today and hold a public hearing on it.
As we reported several weeks ago, the 30-acre site is on Georgia Highway 53 near I-85 and Georgia Highway 124.
