Open house scheduled for 9 new Gwinnett schools

LAWRENCEVILLE - We're less than a week past July 4th and already the thoughts of some are turning to back-to-school.

Sunday July 19th is the date of the first open house at the nine schools in Gwinnett that will be opening for the first time this year.

"The nine new schools include two new high schools, four middle schools, and three new elementary schools, plus a replacement elementary school," said school system spokesman Jorge Quintana.
