Dorsey Dr., Ga. 365 wrecks

GAINESVILLE - No one was around when responding officers arrived at the scene of an early morning traffic crash on the west side of Gainesville that brought down some powerlines... and at least two people were injured in a wreck less than a hour later on Georgia 365.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office says in first instance the car left the road on Dorsey Drive off Browns Bridge Road, plowed into a ditch and then struck a power pole and a fence and a yard.

The occupants fled and tracking dogs were called in, briefly, to search for them... to no avail.

GEORGIA 365 WRECK

At least two people were injured in an early morning wreck on Georgia 365, north of Gainesville near Tribble Gap Road. It happened about 4:15. The injured were trapped for a time but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
