Lakeland Road fire in North Hall county

GAINESVILLE - Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in the 3600 block of Lakeland Road Tuesday afternoon.

"There's no injuries to the home owners and so far there's no injuries to the firefighters," said Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell.

Kimbrell said the 2,200 square foot home was approximately 50 percent involved when authorities arrived.

He said the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
