BRAG begins

HIAWASSEE - This year's Bike Ride Across Georgia, or BRAG, got underway Saturday morning in the northeast Georgia mountains.

The first stage was to take the bicyclists from Hiawassee to Dahlonega.

Other stops between now and Friday include Mount Airy, Athens, Elberton, Wilkes County and Savannah Lakes. About 1,500 riders are participating this year.
