NCR, a Fortune 500 company, said it will relocate it's corporate headquarters to Duluth from Dayton, Ohio. The move will being 1,250 jobs to the Gwinnett County town.
The company will also establish a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Columbus that will employ an additional 870 people over the next five years.
NCR produces cash registers, bank ATMs and airline check-in kiosks.
The formal announcement is planned at a 3:30 news conference today at the state Capitol but Gov. Sonny Perdue's office has already confirmed the move.
The company employs about 23,000 workers worldwide.
