Ga. gas prices up 6 cents in past week

TAMPA, Fla. - Georgia gas prices moved up again last week but not as much as the week before.

AAA South Auto Club reports that the average price of regular unleaded increased six cents, compared to 11 cents the week before.

The price at the end of the week was $2.35, compared to $2.29 a week earlier.

The lowest in our area? In Suwanee, according to gasbuddy.com, $2.28 a gallon, followed by $2.33 in Dahlonega; $2.34 in Cumming and Winder; and $2.35 in Dawsonville, Sugar Hill and Gainesville.
