Gas prices up another 11 cents

TAMPA, Fla. - Georgia gasolines prices increased another eleven cent over the past seven days.

Triple-A South reports the average for regular, unleaded in the state is now $2.29 a gallon; a week ago it was $2.18.

The national average is $2.42.

In the Gainesville area, the lowest that gasbuddy.com could find early Monday was in Barrow County where one outlet in Statham had it for $2.20. One place in Cornelia had it for $2.23. Then came $2.24 in Winder; $2.25 in Cumming; and, $2.27 in Gainesville.
