MOBILE, Ala. -- The Brenau tennis team had its season ended by second-seeded Fresno Pacific, Calif., in the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championships Thursday afternoon in Mobile, Ala., falling 5-0.

Jolene Wong played very well in the loss. The match was actually much closer than the score indicates, and all three doubles matches were hotly contested before Fresno closed them out.

Paula Ghilardotti and Jolene Wong ended up losing in a tiebreaker 9-8 and the other two matches went to 8-5.

The Tigers played their best tennis of the year at the tournament, winning two matches and upsetting No. 7 Azusa Pacific to reach the Elite Eight.
