UNDATED - The search for George Zinkhan, for former University of Georgia professor wanted for a triple slaying in Athens for almost a week, has taken a new twist: his face and vehicle like the one he made his getaway in now grace billboards that have gone up in ten states.

Word that the billboards had gone up came just hours before Zinkhan's SUV was found near his Athens area home. (See separate story.)

The billboards are the work of Cumming-based Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia which is donating the space on its signs as far west as Arizona....and as far north as Maryland.

FBI agents continue to search for Zinkhan in several states where he has family. They say he could also be on the Appalachian Trail or maybe in Amsterdam, where he was renting a house.
