NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Angela Puleo is leaving Georgia after being a two-year starter at guard for the Lady Bulldogs. She is heading back to her home state of Tennessee and transferring to Vanderbilt.

Puleo said she really wanted to stay in the SEC and that Vanderbilt was her first choice. She will sit out the upcoming season but will have two years of eligibility left.

The guard from Maryville, Tenn., has started 60 games with Georgia.

Balcomb confirmed Monday that sophomore Chanel Chisholm and freshman Tia Gibbs are transferring. Chisolm is a forward from North Babylon, N.Y., who played in 34 games as a reserve. A guard from Louisville, Ky., Gibbs also came off the bench to play in 29 games.
