Jacob Whittington earned the win going 4 1/3 innings allowing four runs. Taylor Simpson struck out two in 2/3 of an inning.
Lakeview next will travel to Athens Christian Thursday become returning home on Friday to play host to second place Commerce (12-6, 9-1) who is just two games behind the Lions in the standings. Lakeview whipped the Tigers 9-4 last month in their first meeting.
