The Golden Tigers softball team completed a 4-0 week and moved back into first place in the Southern States Athletic Conference during that time thanks in large part to Borders' play.
The oufielder picked up three hits and two RBIs during the week and is currently ranked in the Top 10 in the SSAC in four different hitting categories. She leads the conference in runs scored with 35, is sixth in hits (46), seventh in stolen bases (10) and eighth in batting average at .377.
Borders is a big part of the reason that the Tigers are 33-6 and 20-4 in conference with a No. 15 ranking in the NAIA.
