Tech baseball knocks off Georgia in Athens

ATHENS -- Tenth-ranked Georgia Tech scored eight runs in the first three innings and cruised to an 11-6 win over top-ranked Georgia in front of 4,077 fans Tuesday at Foley Field.
Freshman Colby May went 3-for-4 with a walk to lead the Bulldogs (29-7) while Levi Hyams, Bryce Massanari and Johnathan Taylor added two hits each including home runs by Hyams and Massanari. Joey Lewis and Michael Demperio also homered.
Jason Haniger went 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBI for Georgia Tech (22-9-1).
