Immigrant advocate marches move to Lawrenceville

GAINESVILLE - Groups that are planning six days of marches this week across north Georgia in support of immigrant rights take their cause to Lawrenceville today.

They kicked off the Pilgrimage for Immigrants in Gainesville with a Mass at the Georgia Mountains Center Sunday morning and a march down Atlanta Road in the afternoon.

In addition to Lawrenceville and Gainesville, marches are planned between now and Saturday in Lilburn, Duluth, Norcross, Doraville, and, Chamblee, Smyrna, and Marietta.
