Lanier now within 10 ft. of 'full pool'

BUFORD - The level of Lake Lanier is now within ten feet of "full pool."

The drought-stricken lake had been steadily dropping, getting very close to another all-time low, until it began refilling in mid-December.

Since then, more than ten feet has been added to the level, which was at 1061.02 early Friday. Full pool is 1071.
