Meteorologists warn Thursday could be a rough one.
A so-called ``high risk'' warning means the potential exists for powerful storms, tornadoes, large hail, heavy rainfall and damaging winds.
Forecasters predicts the severe weather will track over parts of north and central Georgia.
The bulk of the storms could last through the afternoon and evening and pose a significant threat to safety.
Georgians are urged to review severe weather safety rules and be alert for possible watches and warnings.
There are no reports of any significant damage overnight as thunderstorms rumbled through parts of north Gwinnett and southern Hall counties. A severe thunderstorm warning was sounded about 2:45 this morning and was in effect for about 45 minutes.
