BUFORD - A gym manager has been arrested on charges he stole laptops, wedding rings and other valuables from members' lockers.

Gwinnett County police say 35-year-old Mark Medrano has been charged with theft and possession of tools for the commission of crime after an off-duty officer caught him rifling through lockers at LA Fitness in Buford on Friday. Police say Medrano had bolt cutters in his gym bag, along with a number of items stolen from members.

Police also believe the Lawrenceville resident used a machine at his home to copy stolen credit cards and commit identity fraud. Officers found a stash of drivers licenses, credit cards and other items at Medrano's home.
