The company said Friday it will involve 35 hourly workers and one salaried worker who is retiring. Company spokesman Mike Loughery said that post will be eliminated.
Loughery said the company also will stop production at its Athens facility for a week, from April 13-21.
He said the market for insulation is dismal.
The company already had laid off 16 hourly workers March 13. After the April 21 layoffs, the company 186 workers - 156 hourly people and 30 salaried.
