LULA - Voters in Lula Tuesday rejected a liquor referendum.

The vote was 106-90 against the sale of packaged liquor in the East Hall town.

One-hundred-eighty-three of Lula's 1,000 registered voters turned out for the special referendum. That's a turnout of 20 percent.
