Forsyth commission to vote on Toilet Rebate Program

CUMMING - The Forsyth County Commission has agreed to participate in a Toilet Rebate Program with the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District (MNGWPD).

The commission plans to vote on the plan at its meeting on Tuesday.

If the item is approved by the commission and once the MNGWPD okays the agreement, Forsyth County will be added to the Toilet Rebate Program.

To be eligible for the rebate program, customers must apply for the rebate with the

MNGWPD and meet certain qualifications. If a customer qualifies, the Forsyth County

Water and Sewer Department will credit the customer s account with the rebate.
