ATLANTA - The average price for gasoline in Georgia is up about two cents per gallon since this time last week, according to AAA.

The price is now $1.83 for regular. The national average is $1.95.

AAA said that's much lower than the $3.19 a gallon being paid this time last year.

Gasbuddy.com reports the lowest price in Hall County Monday morning was $1.72 at one outlet in Gainesville. The lowest in the Gainesville area was in Barrow County, where one place in Statham was selling regular for $1.65 and another, in Auburn, had it for $1.69.
