Baseball: Lumpkin falls to Creekview

CANTON -- The Lumpkin County baseball team was defeated by Creekview 8-1 on Friday night in Canton.

Blake Sargent pitched for the Indians (5-1, 3-1 region 7A-AAA). Sargent pitched four innings and had five strikeouts.

Jakob Nixon pitched for Creekview.

Lumpkin will play host to West Forsyth at 5:30 p.m. Monday.
