Gwinnett Braves have a playing surface

BUFORD -- Ah, the signs that spring has arrived: The flowers are blooming; the birds are chirping; the sod is coming in nicely in the outfield.

One of the final steps for the G-Braves to have a home in Buford is to get the grass onto the playing field at up-and-coming Gwinnett Stadium, located near Buford Drive. That step was taken this week, although it was delayed a couple of days because of Sundayâ
