The state patrol says 50-year old Kerry Long of Flowery Branch swerved off the pavement on Thompson Mill Road near Chateau Corners Subdivision, back onto the road and across the centerline.
His pickup struck an SUV driven by a juvenile.
Long was life-flighted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta; the juvenile was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
