Deal warns about emissions bill

GAINESVILLE - Republican 9th District Congressman Nathan Deal, speaking Friday morning at the Georgia Mountains Center, warned his audience at the 5th Annual chamber hosted Safe and Green Environmental and Safety Assembly about upcoming emissions control legislation.

Deal said he expects House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to lead the charge on an emissions bill that will deny credit to non-polluting nuclear power generation, putting Southeastern power companies and consumers at a disadvantage.
