It's also President's Day which has traditionally been a state and federal holiday but not a holiday for county workers. The county commission implemented the one-day-a-month furlough schedule last fall because of budget shortfalls.
All county administrative offices, will be closed. Public safety, landfill, and some public works personnel will operate as usual.
The first of the monthly unpaid days off was last October 31.
