The Indians (13-8, 8-3 in subregion) won for the fifth time in six games.
It was tight game in the first half as White County (6-15, 4-6) led 12-9 after the first quarter and 24-23 at halftime.
But Lumpkin turned up the defense using an 18-4 third quarter to grab a 31-28 lead and then outscored the Warriors 20-8 in the fourth quarter to put the game away.
E.J. Young had a big game for Lumpkin scoring 22 points, including hitting 15-of-16 free throws for the game. Shawn Chapman had nine points and Taylor Guthrie eight for the Indians.
The Warriors were paced by 13 points from Tyler Dotson. Luke Crumleyand Kyle Kastner each had eight points for White County.
