No serious injuries in car-train collision

GAINESVILLE - The driver of a car involved in a car-train collision in south Gainesville Monday afternoon escaped with only minor injuries.

Lt. Brian Kelly of the Gainesville Police Department said the accident happened in a curve on Chestnut Street near Bradford Street when the car left the road and struck a parked train.
