Boys basketball: Falcons finished sixth at North Gwinnett tourne

SUWANEE - Flowery Branch finished sixth in the rugged Jared Cook Holiday Classic at North Gwinnett after falling to Spartanburg (S.C.) 50-37 Wednesday.

The Falcons (4-4) again were paced by Ishmael Hollis, who had 19 points. No other Falcons players had more than five points.

Spartanburg (6-3) was led by Daquen Fuller with 21 points. Michael Harpe and Andre Whitmire each had 10 points for Spartanburg.

Flowery Branch will be back in action Saturday traveling to Lambert for a Region 7B-AAA subbregion match-up.
